Apple's "Spring Loaded" event has taken place, with new iPads, iMacs, and other products announced. It was jam-packed with company updates.

Apple Releases New iPad Pros with it’s M1 Processors

The new iPad Pro tablets are powered by the same Apple-designed M1 chip that powers the MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, and Mac mini (and the new iMac, also announced on the same day). Apple calls the Liquid Retina XDR display on the 12.9-inch model an upgrade that uses over 10,000 Mini LEDs. The new 12-megapixel ultrawide camera on both iPad Pros can automatically track you during video calls. 

The tablets will be available in the second half of May, and orders will be accepted until April 30th. The 11-inch model costs $799, while the 12.9-inch version costs $1,099.

Apple FINALLY releases a new iMac with a refreshed design

Apple unveiled a completely redesigned iMac with the M1 processor. It's ultra-thin, has a 24-inch screen, and a 1080p FaceTime camera. It's also available in seven different colors. They will also include a new wireless keyboard with Touch ID authentication. 

The new iMac is available in four colors for $1,299, and in seven colors with better specs for $1,499. It will be available in the second half of May, and orders will begin on April 30th.

Apple Unveils AirTags, their implementation of Tile; An item tracking tags

Apple has finally unveiled its long-rumored AirTag item trackers, which can be tracked in the Find My app. You can also use emoji to personalize your AirTag. You can preorder them for $29 on Friday, and they'll be released on April 30th. A four-pack is also available for $99.

Apple announces a new Apple TV 4K with an A12 Bionic Chip

Apple announced a new Apple TV 4K, which features the same A12 Bionic chip as the iPhone XS, XS Max, and XR. It now has the ability to play HDR and high-frame-rate videos. The 32GB version will cost $179. It will go on preorder on April 30th, and will be released in the second half of May.

Apple Refreshes the Apple TV Remote Design

Apple has unveiled a new Apple TV remote, which is made of aluminum and features a top-mounted click pad. On the side, there's also a Siri button.

The iPhone 12 Series has a new colour: Purple!

Apple has announced the release of a new purple iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini. On Friday, it will be available for preorder, and it will be released on April 30th.

Apple is launching In-App Podcast Subscriptions

Apple has announced that subscriptions to the Podcasts app will be available soon, with benefits such as ad-free listening. Next month, the service will be available in 170 regions and countries. The Podcasts app is also being redesigned by the company.
