Apple announces October 18th Event; Hints at new Macs

Apple has announced that a special event will take place on October 18th at 10:00 a.m. PDT. The event will take place at Apple Park and will only be available online.

The keynote will be broadcast live on Apple's website, YouTube channel, and Apple TV app. There would be a recap article posted here on shreyaan.tech after the keynote.

The word 'unleashed' refers to the M1 chip, which was first introduced with the 13-inch MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, and Mac mini last year. Because Apple's press release was titled "Apple unleashes M1," the event is almost certainly related to new Mac products.

Redesigned MacBook Pro models in 14-inch and 16-inch sizes are expected to be unveiled by Apple. The new models are expected to have a flat design, with HDMI, an SD card slot, and MagSafe charging, as well as Thunderbolt USB 4 ports.

Both models will feature thinner bezels and mini-LED displays with improved contrast ratios, brightness, and black levels. According to rumors circulated on Tuesday by a reputable display analyst, they may also support ProMotion.

The third generation of AirPods could also be unveiled at the event. Similar to the AirPods Pro, these are expected to have a smaller, more compact design, support force touch gestures, have improved sound quality, and support Spatial Audio.
